About the Believers

About-The-Believers

Intro

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of God, to those who believe into His name, – John 1:12

Are you a believer? How did you come to believe? Tell us. We’d like to hear from you. Let’s have some mutual fellowship for some mutual encouragement.

  • If you would like to know what we believe in, here at Christians on Campus, check out this other excellent post: The Common Faith.

This Bible study, About the Believers, is not meant to be exhaustive. It’s meant to be a place where there can be that mutual encouragement. How about this: first, be encouraged by simply reading one of the most powerful passages in the whole Bible, the end of Romans chapter 8. When you’re done with that, jump to the Bible studies below.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  29 Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers;  30 And those whom He predestinated, these He also called; and those whom He called, these He also justified; and those whom He justified, these He also glorified.  31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?  32 Indeed, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not also with Him freely give us all things?  33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s chosen ones? It is God who justifies.  34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Jesus who died and, rather, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.  35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?  36 As it is written, “For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we have been accounted as sheep for slaughter.”  37 But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.  38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things present nor things to come nor powers  39 Nor height nor depth nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
